Dr. Dyana L. Aldea, M.D., FAAPMR
Dr. Dyana Aldea was born in Puerto Rico and raised in New York City. She is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with over seven years of experience. She joined CCMC in 2008. Dr. Aldea is committed to providing her patients exceptional care. She began her education with a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Manchester College, followed by her post-baccalaureate premedical studies at San Diego State University. She then graduated with her medical degree from the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Her postgraduate training included an internship in Family Practice at UMDNJ / Hoboken University Medical Center. Dr. Aldea performed residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center and Montefiore Medical Center / Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Dr. Aldea practices general rehabilitation including patient evaluations, electrodiagnostic testing and joint injections done under ultrasound.
She is a member of AAPM&R. Dr. Aldea also lends her knowledge and skills to provide disability evaluations in New Jersey and New York.
Dr. Aldea currently resides in Edison. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her son. Together they enjoy anything outdoors, especially swimming and racquetball.
