Alison Peretti, P.T.A.
Alison Peretti graduated at the top of her class from Union County College where she earned her Associates in Applied Science in Biology and Physical Therapy. She also plans to return to Rutgers University to complete her Bachelors of Science in Biology with an emphasis on Neuroscience. Alison spent six years practicing as a Massage Therapist after graduating the Somerset School of Massage Therapy in 2005. She believes that patient education and stress management are integral parts of the rehabilitation process and emphasizes the importance of self-care.
Alison has taken advanced coursework in orthopedic massage and myofascial release where she learned techniques that she teaches many of her patients so that they can become active participants in their own treatment.
She has been a member of the American Massage Therapy Association since 2005 and the American Physical Therapy Association since 2009. She is also an active member of the Rahway Elks lodge where she volunteers and fund-raises for veterans and special needs children.
Alison currently lives in Colonia, NJ. In her free time she enjoys camping, reading and spending time with her friends and family. She also enjoys bicycling and is training to ride in her first century race in 2012.
